Immigration.
Americans are being replaced by incompatible foreigners who do not share
our values. This is not good for Americans and it is not necessary. Immigration is primarily a matter
of federal jurisdiction, but the state has a role to play in immigration issues, and North Dakota must
aggressively defend the interests of North Dakotans.
Big Tech and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Artificial Intelligence is changing our world faster than most of our institutions can keep up.
Business leaders, educators, and young people trying to start their careers are all worried about
what the future holds, and how AI will continue to impact them.
The frontier AI models are breaking new records and demonstrating new abilities every few weeks.
Yet the ND legislature only meets once per two years. We need a technology leader in the legislature who
can help us navigate the public policy responses that will be required. The blessings of innovation must
lift up the people of North Dakota; not exploit or abuse them.
State Spending.
The State of North Dakota spends too much money. North Dakota is very comparable to South Dakota; we have
similar populations, similar geography, similar land area, similar position within the continent.
But there is one giant difference between us: The North Dakota state government spends twice as much
money as South Dakota. That means there is opportunity to spend less money and lower our taxes.
Punishing Evil.
Romans 13:4 outlines an important responsibility of government: to bear the sword against those who do evil.
Our governing officials have not faithfully fulfilled this God assigned duty.
Our government allows criminals to continue to terrorize the public.
Our government allows adults who hurt children to keep hurting them.
All of this will stop.
Evil will be punished, and
the public officials who refused to do their jobs will also be punished.
